This is really the band performing at their best and the audio quality is very good despite the occasional cheering The second disk opens with Roulette Dares before the band plays Cassandra Gemini in full, mic dropping with the last chorusĬedric hits almost every note, Omar goes insane with effects, Juan is at max volume and Adrian adds hints of woodwinds in the best places. The first disk opens with Fistful of Dollars and a huge 30 minute version of Drunkship of Lanterns. Still, theres two hours of Frances goodness along with Deloused songs reinterpreted with sax and added percusion. If you saw this in person it must have been transcendant because there's unfortunately a lot of audience noise in the bootleg recording.

The single starts with the edit of L'via, and The Bible(.) is a strange ambient spoken word piece. One of the FEW b-sides from Frances and not really a stellar one. L'via edit/The Bible and the Breathalyzer b-side Watching the audience makes me feel like they had no idea what they were seeing because it is life changing. Jon Theodore displays his ability better here than almost everywhere and Omar's soloing is excellent. The 20+ minute jam in Cicatriz was unbelievable, featuring Cedric crawling around on the floor and screaming with the mic shoved in his mouth. Parts of Cassandra and Cygnus were debuted in the improv sections. Three songs in a 40 minute trip to space. Tira me a las Arañas/Drunkship of LanternsĪrguably my favorite Volta live show. Concertina is the only song not from Deloused, the cover of the live CD is included Cedrics has a few out of tune moments but the experience is still great. The fuller setlist means theres not as much improv but there are interesting things added, especially Eriatarka. While not my favorite live show, it's up there. The classic show with a legendary version of Take the Veil as a climax. The only other song on the latter half is a lengthy Cicatriz jam Cedric's improv vocals and the jams are similar to it, and I believe its even in the same key. The first disk features slightly altered versions of deloused songs, while the second disk starts with a 37 minute improv section that clearly had sowings of Cassandra in it, but is much less structured and a little more indulgent. State Your Preference (Cicatriz ESP demo)Ī rehearsal/jam session from 2003 in England, this is technically a double album at almost two hours long. This Is The Haunt Of Roulette Dares (demo) I personally prefer the demo of Eunach but still like the original Concertina more Both covers are included in the folder This is the original 2003 demo Caught in the sun was song from 2002 only played live Concertina and Eunach Provocateur were rerecorded for the Deloused sessions and the more refined band makes them completely different experiences. Ambuletz was a bonus track on special editions of Deloused A Plague is an unreleased song from the Deloused era, but parts were later reworked into Day of the Baphomets. "This Apparatus" is the one that is clearly recorded later as it is most similar to the studio version. The album starts in the same order with demos from 20 up until State Your Preference which is an early version of Cicatriz.

This is one of my favorite creations, which is a compilation of demo versions of almost every song on Deloused along with unreleased songs from the album or the era. I don't really condone piracy but these are all widely available and for personal use

#BIG L PUT IT ON BOOTLEG DOWNLOAD#
So here are a links to a secure Google drive with mp3s and album covers, for you to download if you so wish. I recently thought that the albums I "made" and downloaded to my phone might be enjoyed by the people here. World's #1 Frances the Mute fan here, Tmv doesnt have a ton of studio releases or other material for that matter, so I went and found every unreleased song I could find and specific live shows.
